Botanical Monotypes -are unique ‘one off’ prints, where foliage and natural sources are used within the monotype process to create unique ‘one off’ pieces. Ink is usually rolled onto a plate and botanicals are carefully placed to create an image, the ink thentransfers over to paper through the printing process. Unlike other printing methods these can not easily be repeated which means you have an entirely unique piece. This is often reflected in the price.
